We've received some reports of the Headspace app causing some issues on iPhone 7 devices. We've discovered it's actually a bug with Apple for versions of iOS 11.1.2, no matter your device. To learn more about this Apple bug, go here.
If your iOS device is on 11.1.2. and crashing, looping or "blacking out" and you have the Headspace app, you don't need to delete our app to fix the issue. Simply disable all Notifications for Headspace. To do that, follow the steps below:
- Go to SETTINGS
- Select NOTIFICATIONS
- Scroll down and tap on HEADSPACE
- to the right of ALLOW NOTIFICATIONS, toggle to turn off
This will do the trick. Our engineers are aware of this bug and will be keeping an eye on it until Apple releases a fix. In the meantime, the above steps should help avoid any further issues.
