Kaiser coverage is dependent on your region. Please locate your insurance card if you are uncertain which region your coverage is under.
Kaiser coverage for Headspace care varies by region:
Washington/ Northwest - Kaiser Washington and Northwest covers coaching, therapy, and psychiatry services as a self-referral option through kp.org. Please note that we are considered in-network, but you may still be responsible for cost shares, such as co-pays, deductibles, or coinsurance depending on your plan.
Northern California/ Hawaii - Kaiser Northern California and Hawaii covers coaching services at Headspace at no extra cost to you. For access to therapy or psychiatry services, Kaiser Permanente has requested that members call them directly. The Kaiser Permanente team will assess each member’s need to determine if you may benefit from additional support and care.
You can reach your Kaiser team using the number on the back of your insurance card. If the Kaiser team determines that Headspace Care will be a good fit, they will provide us with the necessary documentation. At that point, please reach back out to us, and we can help you schedule your first appointment.
Colorado/ Midwest - Kaiser Colorado and Midwest covers access to coaching at Headspace and does not cover therapy or psychiatry at this time. For therapy or psychiatry services, please refer to the Kaiser website or call your local psychiatry department to discuss your options with your Kaiser team.
