On July 2020, we released a new version of our Android app, which includes three brand new modes: Today, Meditate, and Move. Each of these modes will provide you with a more streamlined approach to the features of the app as well as additional resources for a completely mindful Headspace Journey.
Today Mode will contain The Wake Up and your recent sessions and courses
Meditate Mode contains featured meditations, your most recent meditations, Today's Meditation (previously known as Everyday Headspace), an explore option, as well as Group meditation.
PLEASE NOTE: The previous "My Courses" section has been replaced by "Recent." You will still be able to access your courses in the "Recent" tab so long as you have used one of those courses recently.
Move Mode is a new mind-body fitness experience guided by expert trainers. Headspace’s new Move Mode was created to help members strengthen both their mind and their body, together. By combining the cognitive and the physical, Headspace is aiming to change peoples’ attitudes toward fitness training by teaching them the mindful anchors of intention, breathing, timing, form, and recovery.
- Mindful fitness: low-to-medium impact exercises and cardio to get your heart pumping
- Expert trainers: Olympians Kim Glass and Leon Taylor coach you on your journey
- Rest day meditations: Recover with exercises for the mind, led by Andy Puddicombe
Where did the Explore and Profile tabs go?
Your Explore and Profile tabs can now be found in the upper corners of the app. Just tap on the spyglass icon in the right corner to search for or explore different sessions and courses, and the person icon in the left corner will bring you to your account details.
