What is a widget?
A widget elevates key content from your devices apps and displays it on your device to see it at a glance.
How do I get the Headspace widgets?
First, you’ll want to ensure that your device is updated to iOS 14. If you have any questions about how to do this, we recommend checking out Apple’s website.
Next, you will have to manually add the widgets to your home screen. The instructions can be seen on Apple’s website or below.
- From the Home Screen, touch and hold a widget or an empty area until the apps jiggle.
- Tap the Add button (+) in the upper-left corner.
- Select a widget, choose from three widget sizes, then tap Add Widget.
- Tap Done.
You can also add widgets from Today View. From Today View, touch and hold a widget until the quick actions menu opens, then tap Edit Home Screen. Drag the widget to the right edge of the screen until it appears on the Home Screen, then tap Done.
You should then be able to click the widget and have it take you directly to the content shown on the widget.
In the morning the widgets will show the Wake Up, during the afternoon you will see Everyday Headspace being shown, and in the evening you will see our featured Sleepcast!
Please note that you will need a subscription to see some of the content.
If you are experiencing trouble with the widget, we suggest deleting the Headspace widget and restarting your device!
