Update as of December 14th, 2021: It has been brought to our attention that the PayPal payment method is no longer working on certain subscription purchases. The affected subscriptions are gift subscriptions and Student Plan subscriptions. We truly apologize for the issue and assure you that our engineers are working hard to fix it.
In the meantime, as a workaround, you are still able to use a credit/debit card as a payment method for those two affected subscriptions.
