One of our top strategic priorities as a combined organization is to build the world’s most inclusive mental health and wellbeing brand.
This strategy is focused on:
- Building a diverse, global workforce that reflects the diversity of the people we serve and the world in which we live
- Investing in cultural competency and training for care providers to support any member of any community
- Creating content that supports the mental health and wellbeing needs of underrepresented communities, while reducing stigma and enhancing allyship
- Fostering a place where everyone belongs - engaging in company wide conversations, learning from others, and celebrating our diverse backgrounds and perspectives
With this, we are constantly evaluating ways to build up our capabilities internally (ex. creating content for diverse communities, like Navigating Injustice), partnering with other entities to advance our strategy (ex. Dive in Well), or make acquisitions of like-minded companies, like Shine. By acquiring Shine now, we believe we can significantly advance our DEIB efforts by bringing on an experienced team that has been delivering against similar work for the past six years, and aligns with our vision, mission and values at Headspace Health.
