The daily Wake Up content is designed to help members start their day on a mindful note by prompting users to take healthier actions throughout the day, focusing on five key elements of living a mindful life: meditation, sleeping, moving, eating, and playing. It will feature three- to five-minute episodes of new content refreshed daily that is designed to be a complement to a member’s meditation practice. For example, a segment about food will encourage members to think mindfully about where various ingredients come from; and a segment about movement will emphasize exercise benefits both mind and body.

Does The Wake Up count toward my journey/run streak?
No, The Wake Up will not count towards your Journey and Run Streak.
Looking at your phone in the morning has been shown to increase stress/anxiety. How is this supposed to help?
Our intention with The Wake Up was to provide a daily bite-sized video experience to start your day mindfully and make your whole day better. We created The Wake Up because reducing the compulsive need to check email or social media first thing in the morning can not only decrease stress and anxiety but also extend a positive mindset into the rest of the day.
Where can I find previous episodes of The Wake Up? Are they archived anywhere?
The Wake Up resets every day, however many of our previous Wake Up sessions can be found in a collection called The Wake Up in your Headspace Explore tab. Just scroll down in the explore tab until you locate The Wake Up collection.
