We automatically check your insurance coverage before each session to help keep your information up to date.
If you get an email asking you to verify your insurance and you’d like us to bill your plan for therapy or psychiatry, just send photos of the front and back of your insurance card to insuranceeligibility@headspace.com. This helps us make sure everything on file is accurate and up to date.
You can safely ignore this email if:
- Your confident your sessions are covered through your employer,
- We have successfully billed your insurance plan in the past and it has not changed,
- You’ve chosen to pay out of pocket, or
- You have sent your insurance information to that address and had it manually verified before.
Sometimes these emails are sent when our automatic check can’t connect to your insurance provider, even if your coverage hasn’t changed.
