Therapy
Therapy focuses on helping you understand the underlying causes of emotional patterns and behaviors. A therapist may guide you in exploring your personal history, emotions, and current challenges to promote insight and meaningful change. You’ll learn practical techniques to manage thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that may be contributing to distress.
Psychiatry
Psychiatric providers are medical professionals who diagnose and treat mental health conditions, often through the use of medication. Working as part of your care team, they assess your symptoms and may recommend medication to help manage psychiatric concerns. They collaborate closely with your therapist and/or coach to support your overall care.
International Access to Care
To provide medical care (such as therapy and psychiatry) outside the United States, providers like Headspace Care must meet each country’s legal, licensure, and medical practice requirements. In some cases, this includes maintaining a physical office in the region. At this time, all Headspace Care services are delivered from the United States, and we do not hold international medical licenses or offices. For this reason, we are only able to offer coaching services—not therapy or psychiatry—to international members in approved countries.
