🧠Coaching
- Coaching sessions can text-based and accessible 24/7 through the Headspace Care app.
- Additionally, coaching video sessions are able to be scheduled in advance.*
- Focuses on your present situation and future goals through a collaborative, action-oriented approach.
- Coaches help you take small steps toward your goals and adjust as needed to stay on track.
- Often the first point of contact in your care journey and work closely with therapists and psychiatrists when higher levels of support are needed.
**Please note that video coaching is currently available to English-speaking members aged 18 and older who reside in the United States and Canada (excluding Quebec) of select organizations. For confirmation of your eligibility, please reach out to caresupport@headspace.com.
💬 Therapy
- Conducted via live video sessions with a licensed clinician.
- Focuses on understanding and addressing ongoing psychological symptoms and patterns of behavior, emotion, or thought.
- May involve exploring past experiences or shifting current patterns to support long-term emotional well-being.
- Helps develop tools to manage distress and foster positive change.
💊 Psychiatry
- Provided by medical doctors via live video sessions (45–50 minutes for intake; 20 minutes for follow-ups).
- Focuses on medication management for psychiatric symptoms.
- Psychiatrists collaborate with your therapist and coach to support your care plan.
- Note: Due to telemedicine regulations, our psychiatrists cannot prescribe controlled substances (e.g., stimulants, benzodiazepines, opiates). For these medications, please consult your primary care provider or contact us at caresupport@headspace.com.
