Who can access video coaching?
Scheduled video coaching is available to English-speaking members aged 18 and older who reside in the United States and Canada (excluding Quebec) of select organizations.
Why isn’t video coaching available in Quebec?
Right now, video coaching is only offered in English. To meet Quebec’s language laws (Bill 96), all services—including messages and terms—must also be available in French. Until we can offer video coaching in both languages, it won’t be available in Quebec.
Can I still use text-based coaching if I’m in Quebec?
Yes! You still have access to unlimited text-based coaching and can continue working with your coach through messages.
Can I get video coaching in a language other than English?
If you prefer to receive coaching in Spanish or French, you can choose the text-based coaching path, which is available in all three languages. Video and in-the-moment coaching are currently available only in English.
Do teens have access to video coaching?
No. While teens do have access to text-based coaching, video coaching won’t be available to them yet.
Do I need a certain plan or employer benefit to access video coaching?
Yes. Access depends on your Headspace benefit through your employer or provider. Reach out to Member Support at caresupport@headspace.com to confirm your eligibility.
Can I book a video coaching session if my app is set to a language other than English?
Yes! If you're in the US or Canada, you can access video coaching no matter what language your app is set to. Just a heads-up: all sessions are currently conducted in English, and we’ll remind you of that when you book.
